Setting the Project Base Point Coordinates in Revit

How can we move only the project base point without affecting the projects and elements that typically shift when the project base point is moved or modified in Revit?

First, you need to make the project base point visible. By default, it is usually hidden. Press the VV shortcut key to open the Visibility/Graphics settings, then enable the display of the project base point, as shown in the image below.

Next, select the project base point and click the clip state toggle button located in the upper left corner. Change the clipping state so that only the red diagonal bar is displayed, as illustrated in the figure below.

With this setting, you can now move the project base point using the Move command or by directly modifying its coordinates, as demonstrated in the following image.

After moving or adjusting, click the clip state toggle button again to revert it to its original state, as shown in the next figure.

Finally, hide the project base point again through the Visibility/Graphics settings to complete the process of moving the base point.
