How to Add Extra Text to Project Information in Revit

How to Add Additional Text to Project Information in Revit

Revit has a built-in feature for adding text to project information. If you want to manually add custom text and annotate the project details, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Manage tab, select Project Parameters, and then click Add.

2. The parameter properties panel will open automatically. In the parameter data section, enter the name Professional (this is a custom text field). Change the parameter type to Text. Under categories, select Buildings and scroll down to find Project Information—make sure to check it. Then, click OK.

3. After confirming the above settings, you’ll return to the Project Parameters panel. Click OK again to finalize the setup.

4. To see the results, go to Manage > Project Information. You will now see the custom “Professional” text field displayed in the project information panel, where you can enter your desired text.
