This two-story connected house is situated in a residential valley area on the outskirts of Basel. A private pathway leads to a park-style square, with the house set back from the street on its northern side. The building’s sculptural and dynamic appearance is enhanced by numerous projecting elements, setback zones, and rounded corners of varying radii.

The building’s distinctive form is further emphasized by the exclusive use of pure concrete and a variety of door and window styles.
On the north, west, and east facades, windows are recessed behind small circular openings that act as light filters. In contrast, the south side features expansive scenic windows and glass doors. Inside, the rounded shapes continue, creating an engaging spatial flow.

A spiral staircase connects the upper-level living room, which features a built-in sculpture gallery. The floor also includes four rooms, two bathrooms, and an open office area. Additionally, stairs lead from this level to an exterior rooftop viewing platform.

The lower level contains guest rooms and spacious multifunctional areas, all designed to capture natural sunlight from the external courtyard. The interior combines coastal pine plywood, raw steel, concrete terrazzo flooring, and exposed concrete walls to create a smooth, minimalist atmosphere.
