In real-world projects, Revit often requires rendering after building the model. Today, I will guide you through how to efficiently create renderings using Enscape.
1. Launch Revit and open the model file you want to render, as shown below.
2. Open the Enscape plugin, then go to Settings to adjust the output parameters (note: you only need to configure this once).
3. In the Enscape Settings dialog box, click on the Capture tab to access the image capture options, as illustrated.
4. Set the resolution to 4K and the quality to High. Once configured, close the dialog box, as demonstrated.
5. Start Enscape by clicking the Start button, as shown in the image.
6. When prompted with a dialog box, click the left command to continue loading the model.
Once the model is fully loaded, Enscape will enter the observation mode, as depicted below.
7. Use the W, S, A, and D keys to move the camera forward, backward, left, and right. Hold the left mouse button and move your mouse to change the viewing direction. Finally, use the scroll wheel to zoom in or out until you find the perfect angle for your image, as shown.
8. After selecting the desired perspective in Enscape, switch back to the Revit interface and click the Render Image button to begin exporting the rendering.
In the following dialog box, set the save location for your image, as illustrated.
9. Once the high-definition rendering is complete, navigate to the save location to find your exported image, as shown.
