Two Methods for Creating Net Height Analysis Diagrams in Revit
In many projects, it is often necessary to generate a net height analysis diagram after completing the mechanical and electrical adjustments for management purposes. Below are two effective methods to create such diagrams in Revit.
Method 1: Go to the Annotation tab, click the dropdown under Region, and select Fill Area, as shown in the image.
Choose the appropriate fill pattern and assign different colors to complete the diagram, illustrated in the example below.
Method 2: Under the Building tab, select the floor slab for drawing, as demonstrated in the figure.
When drawing floor slabs, make sure to set the corresponding elevations, as shown in the illustration.
Finally, apply relevant filters and assign distinct colors to floor filters at different elevations. This helps to clearly differentiate between varying net heights, as depicted in the image.
Summary: The first method uses filled areas to cover regions, enabling net height analysis, while the second method achieves the same goal by leveraging floor slab fills based on elevation. Both approaches are demonstrated in the accompanying images.
