Solution for Revit Certificate Authorization Error 0015.111 (Applicable to All Autodesk Products)
Many users encounter the “Certificate authorization error 0015.111” after installing the software and using it for some time. This error may also appear during installation and activation. The root cause is often antivirus software interfering with the registry, such as by optimizing or cleaning it.
Solution:
1. First, back up the AdLMR7 folder for safety. The folder location varies depending on the software version. You can find the correct folder by searching online or checking the installation source files. This folder contains two important DLL files: adlmact.dll and adlmact_ibFNP.dll. For example, on Windows 7, this process applies as follows.
2. Locate the ADLM folder within the installation source files and navigate to the correct version folder. For instance, if you are using the 2016 all-in-one version labeled as R11, make sure to work with the R11 folder only. Be cautious not to back up or modify the wrong folder.
Copy the two DLL files (adlmact.dll and adlmact_ibFNP.dll) from the installation source’s folder to the corresponding R11 folder on your C drive. After copying, restart the software or your computer, and then attempt to register again using the registration machine.
