How to Accurately Display Steel Bars in Revit 3D Views

How to Display Real Steel Bars in Revit 3D Views

After drawing the steel bars using the Superb plugin, you might notice that the steel bars are not visible. This happens because, by default, steel bars in the 3D solid model are grouped within the main structural components. So, how can you make the steel bars visible?

1. First, select the steel bars you want to display. Since rendering physical steel bars requires significant computer resources, selecting all bars at once can cause serious lag. You can select the bars either one by one or by using filters.

2. Once the steel bars are selected, check the Properties panel for the View Visibility status. Click “Edit” and choose the specific view in the pop-up dialog where you want the steel bars to be clearly visible.

3. The rendering result will appear as shown below!
