Exporting All Families from a Revit Project: A Step-by-Step Guide

How to Export All Families in a Revit Project

After completing your project, you might want to back up and tally all the families included. This requires exporting the family files from the project.

Step 1: Navigate through the menu by selecting FileSave AsLibraryFamily (click on Family).

Step 2: In the Save Family dialog box, select all the families you wish to save, then click Save to complete the export.

Step 3: Alternatively, you can choose to save individual families using the pop-up dialog box.
