Decoration Area Definition: The model’s decoration areas include:
- Outdoor: The space outside the building envelope up to the property boundary.
- Indoor: Lobby entrances, elevator lobbies, main conference rooms, main offices, restrooms, main corridors, etc.
Hardcover Model Detailing: Model components and depth descriptions are as follows:
Outdoor Area: The building perimeter includes main roads, plazas, landscaping, water features, surrounding building masses within the property boundary and green space, as well as municipal infrastructure related to main roads. The model depth reflects relationships between the building and its surrounding natural and built environment.
Building Exterior: This covers facade segmentation, including curtain wall panels, primary curtain wall frames, main and secondary mullions, major lighting fixtures, main entrances and exits, exterior doors and windows, garage entrances, roof elements, landscaping on roofs, skylights, parapets, etc. The modeling aims to represent all exterior facade components and basic material modules.
Indoor Areas: Each interior space features main structural and architectural elements such as walls, slabs, beams, columns, doors, windows, ceilings, escalators, stairs, elevators, railings, and ramps, along with major furniture and décor. Mechanical and electrical elements include main lighting fixtures, air vents, sprinkler heads, bathroom fixtures, monitoring devices, etc. The model depth corresponds to the finished surface shapes and completed construction forms of all major components.
Animation Description and Techniques:
Animation Type 1: Created with the popular architectural visualization software Lumion, this roaming animation uses commonly applied or architect-specified materials and colors for all model components. Lighting, landscaping, water features, and furniture are rendered using Lumion’s standard effects. Please refer to the attached video for the final presentation.
Animation Type 2: Produced with the Cryengine game engine, this interactive roaming animation allows material and color comparisons for selected building components (interior walls, floors, ceilings). Lighting is presented with 2 to 3 different schemes for owner or designer review. Please see the attached video for the final display.
