Revit MEP 2019: New Feature for Selecting Route Mode
In Revit MEP 2019, you can choose a predefined route path or specify a custom one for your circuits.
The route line can include either all devices or just the farthest device in the circuit. When you modify the route path, a custom path is created and saved for future use.
To start, select a component within the existing circuit, then navigate to the Circuit tab, find the System Tools panel, and click Edit Path.
Once in Edit Path mode, all components outside the selected route will dim, and the Edit Path toolbar will appear.
Within the Edit Path panel, you can select the Path Mode.
- Choose The Farthest Device to route to the most distant component.
- Or select All Devices to include every device along the route.
If you have already modified the route path, you can select Customize as the Path Mode to keep your custom path.
Note that the Length value will update dynamically in the Edit Path panel as you make changes.
When you finish editing, click Complete Editing Path to apply your changes, or click Cancel Editing Path to discard them.
