Modifying Elevation Type During Placement

To change the elevation type while placing it, follow these steps:

1. On the ribbon, click the Elevation tool.

Where to find it?

  • In the Architecture tab, under the Benchmark panel (Elevation)
  • In the Structure tab, under the Benchmark panel (Elevation)

2. Use the type selector to choose a different elevation type.

Modifying Elevation Type in Section or Elevation Views

1. Select the elevation line within the drawing area.

2. In the type selector, pick another elevation type.

Editing Elevation Lines in Elevation Views

You can adjust the elevation line as follows:

  • Resize the elevation line: Select the elevation line, click the blue size handle, and drag it left or right to adjust the length.
  • Raise or lower the elevation: Select the elevation line, click the associated dimension value, and enter a new value.
  • Relabel the elevation: Select the elevation, click on the label box, and enter a new elevation label.
