Mastering Revit MEP: A Guide to View Templates - Part 3

BIM Software Tip: Revit MEP View Template – 3

Revit MEP view templates not only help create color schemes but also allow you to define drawing styles for ducts, pipes, and more. This makes it easier to apply consistent styles quickly, reducing the effort required to adjust each element individually.

To start, create drawing styles for your various pipeline systems from a blank view. This includes defining the color, line type, and line width for each line.

Once you have developed the drawing styles, save them as a view template.

When working in other views, simply apply the saved template.

Now, when you draw the pipeline, the view will automatically match the drawing style specified by your saved view template, ensuring consistency throughout your project.
