BIM Software Tip: Revit Railings (Part 3)

This tutorial covers the flexible use of a metric railing family, introducing a new family called “Metric Railing – Pillar.”

First, insert the street lamp family, place it as needed, and then load it into your project.

Next, use the railing tool to draw the railing path and generate the railing. To adjust the position of the railing, select “Edit” and modify the railing family by replacing it with the newly loaded one, named “Clan 1.”

You will see the street lights generated along the railing path. Their relative spacing can also be manually adjusted to suit your design requirements.
