E202™ – 2008:
Model elements have precise and specific quantities, sizes, shapes, positions, and orientations during modeling. Non-geometric information may also be included.

G202™ – 2013:
Model elements are represented graphically as specific systems, objects, or components with exact quantities, sizes, shapes, positions, and orientations. Non-geometric information can also be linked.

4. Differences in LOD 350

E202™ – 2008:

G202™ – 2013:
LOD 350 includes sufficient detail for installation and interdisciplinary coordination.

5. Differences in LOD 400

E202™ – 2008:
Model elements are modeled as specific components, including accurate size, shape, position, quantity, and orientation. They contain detailed information for manufacturing and assembly. Non-geometric data may also be attached.

G202™ – 2013:
Model elements graphically represent specific systems, objects, or components with precise size, shape, position, quantity, orientation, detailed design, manufacturing, assembly, and installation information. Non-geometric information is also included.

6. Differences in LOD 500

E202™ – 2008:
Model elements reflect actual and accurate dimensions, shapes, positions, quantities, and orientations of construction components. Non-geometric information may be attached.

G202™ – 2013:
Model elements correspond to on-site conditions in size, shape, position, quantity, and orientation. Non-geometric information can also be linked to the elements.
