Chongqing News (Correspondent Hu Tianyou) — On July 1, 2018, marking the 97th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, the Party branch of the Chongqing Guizhou Project of China Railway 21st Bureau Fifth Company, together with the Party Committee of Jielong Town in Banan District, Chongqing, organized a series of activities at the project site on June 27. Under the theme “Offering Love, Protecting the Environment, Celebrating July 1st, Party Members and Cadres in Action,” these events embraced the spirit of the anniversary in a meaningful way. Their efforts were warmly praised by local villagers and Party committees, helping to establish a positive corporate image in the Yuzhou region.
That afternoon, despite the scorching sun and temperatures soaring to 37 degrees Celsius, the enthusiasm of Party members and cadres remained undiminished as they celebrated the July 1st anniversary. Feng Tianhua, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jielong Town, and Li Li, Mayor, led a group of comrades, Party members stationed in Qiaobian Village and Chaiba Village, Zhang Guicang, Manager of the Chongqing Guizhou Project, and Hu Tianyou, Secretary of the Project Department, to visit the homes of elderly Party members facing difficulties in Chaiba and Qiaobian Villages. They carried out volunteer labor, cleaned up the environment, and disposed of garbage, promoting environmental protection, community care, and the concept advocated by General Secretary Xi Jinping that “Green mountains and clear waters are worth more than mountains of gold and silver.” This initiative emphasized the importance of preserving the natural environment for future generations while fulfilling the social responsibilities of central enterprises.
During the fourth symposium on Joint Party Building, Innovation, and Enterprise-Land Cooperation, Feng Tianhua praised the preliminary achievements of the Chongqing Guizhou Project Department. He particularly highlighted the project’s proactive efforts in local management, safety production, civilized construction, land acquisition and demolition, road transportation, and enterprise-land cooperation. Feng expressed gratitude for the project department’s comprehensive approach, understanding of local needs, and contributions to bridge construction, poverty alleviation, and community welfare. These efforts have brought significant benefits to local villagers. Looking ahead, the Party Committee, government, and local communities of Jielong Town pledged ongoing support and collaboration to accelerate project progress through party-building initiatives, ensuring the early completion of the Chongqing Guizhou double-track railway. This will ultimately benefit residents and stimulate the region’s economic development.
The road ahead remains long and challenging, and the joint efforts between enterprises and local communities will continue unceasingly. Together, they aim to build Chongqing and Guizhou, contribute to society, and earn a strong reputation. Project Secretary Hu Tianyou emphasized that, during the construction of the Chongqing Guizhou double-track railway, the project department will, guided by the principles of enterprise-local party building cooperation and supported by local Party committees, governments, and residents, stay true to its original mission. They will persist through difficulties, work diligently, and strive to transform the Chongqing Guizhou expressway into a safe, clean, high-quality project that benefits the people and promotes regional prosperity.
At the meeting, four outstanding Party members were jointly commended for their exceptional contributions, sincere cooperation, strong Party spirit, and exemplary work ethic during the joint enterprise and local party building activities.
