Revit 2017 Software Installation Tutorial (Applicable to Revit 2018)

Installation Steps:

1. Run the Revit 2017 installation package and select a decompression directory. Make sure the directory path contains no Chinese characters. You will need at least 5.77GB of free space for decompression.
2. Once decompression completes, two files will appear. Double-click the first file; a prompt saying ‘re decompress’ will appear. Click ‘OK’ to start decompression again. After it finishes, click ‘Yes’, then choose ‘Install’ to begin installation.
3. Accept the user agreement by selecting ‘I agree’, then click ‘Next’.
4. Choose the installation features and directory, then click ‘Install’.
5. Wait for the installation to complete.
6. Launch Revit 2017 from the desktop shortcut and click ‘Enter Serial Number’.
7. Click ‘Activate’.
8. Enter the serial number: 066-06666666 and the product key: 829I1.
9. Extract the authorization tool, open the “Revit 2017” registry as an administrator, then click ‘Patch’.
10. Copy the “application code” from the software into the first field of the registration tool, click ‘Generate’ to produce the activation code.
11. Back in Revit, select ‘I have an activation code provided by Autodesk’, paste the generated activation code, and click ‘Next’.
12. As shown in the image, the installation of the Chinese version of Revit 2017 is complete. You can now start using the software.
