How to Fix AutoCAD Freezing When Printing DWG to PDF Using PC3 Files

Reason:

The DWG To PDF PC3 file is corrupted.

Solution:

Reinstall the DWG To PDF plotter. In AutoCAD, the UserDataCache is retrieved from the PC3 file as follows:

Open the folder:
C:Program FilesAutodeskAutoCAD 2014UserDataCachePlotters

Note: The UserDataCache folder is hidden by default, so make sure that your system is set to show hidden files and folders.

Right-click on the DWG To PDF.pc3 file and select Copy.

Then, go back to AutoCAD and run the PLOTTERMANAGER command to open the Plotters folder.

Right-click inside the Plotters folder and select Paste. When prompted, confirm to overwrite the existing files for this version.
