Error 0xc000007b: Unable to Launch the Application

Question:

Later AutoCAD-based products fail to open after a complete uninstall. An error message appears referencing error number 0xc000007b.

Cause:

This issue is often caused by damaged or missing DLL files.

Solution:

You need to reinstall MSVCR100.dll, which is part of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (both 64-bit and 32-bit versions).

Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the following folders on your system:

    C:WindowsSystem32

    C:WindowsSysWOW64

2. Search for MSVCR100.dll in both locations and manually delete the files.

3. Uninstall both the x86 and x64 versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable from your system.

4. Download and reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable packages.
