BIM Software Tips: How to Expand Revit 2015 R2
Question:
How can I expand Revit 2015 R2 over a network? Is it possible to simply import the MSP file using the NetDeployment tool and manually run the two MSI files?

The default extraction folder, C:AutodeskAutodesk_Revit_2015_S2patches, contains files that can be directly added as an MSP patch for Autodesk Revit 2015 Service Pack, either from a local drive or over a network.
However, since Autodesk Revit 2015 R2 is distributed only as a Speedobo application, it cannot be applied as a service pack via Autodesk.com.
Generator and IronPython:
Inside the extracted folder C:AutodeskAutodesk_Revit_2015_S2patches, there are two MSI files available. These MSI files can be directly integrated as expansion packages into other software installations.
