In Revit, the name displayed on a drawing layout typically matches the view’s actual name, as illustrated in the example below.

But is it possible to change the name shown on the drawing without altering the original view name? The answer is yes. Revit offers this feature within the view properties.

To do this, open the View Properties dialog for the desired view. Then, in the “Title on Sheet” field, enter the name you want to appear on the drawing. This way, you can customize the displayed view name independently from the view’s actual name, as demonstrated below.
