BIM Software Tip: REVIT Decoration Statistics for Floor Tiles
Use curtain wall panels to simulate wooden flooring and accurately count the number of floor tiles. Start by creating a curtain wall panel family with a wood flooring material:
Next, load this family into your project and create a rectangular mullion measuring 3mm square:
Then, begin a new project and draw a floor slab measuring 4200mm by 3300mm on Level 1, representing a room with wooden flooring underneath:
After that, draw a glass slanted window of the same dimensions as the floor slab. Position it 5 units above Level 1, and configure the following properties:
Adjust the vertical mullions by adding or removing them to create a staggered panel layout. It is recommended to modify the mullions before changing their types in the properties:
