BIM Software Tip: How to Control the Visibility of the Revit Plane Area

As illustrated in the image below, open the Visibility/Graphics dialog box. Then, navigate to the Annotation Category tab and scroll down to the Flat Area category. Here, you can check or uncheck the box to show or hide the planar area.

Additionally, under the Projection/Surface: Lines column, click Override to customize the line width, color, and pattern for the planar area.
