Some friends who are new to BIM have asked me, “Where can I find Revit video tutorials?” Actually, there are plenty of Revit video tutorials available online. Here, I’d like to share my personal experience on where to find them.

The quality of videos and teaching varies, so it’s important to distinguish good content on your own. My advice is to follow users who have a “Top Up” or “Refine” badge, as their posts tend to maintain a higher standard.

Many companies produce Revit video tutorials, which can be watched or purchased online. Often, early lessons are free, while more advanced or key content requires payment. Paying for knowledge is understandable, but always stay cautious to avoid scams. Based on my experience, pay attention to the company’s reputation, cost-effectiveness, payment methods, and whether their certifications are complete.
4. Professional Online Classrooms
Nowadays, many learners prefer professional online platforms such as Tencent Classroom. I personally studied Revit video tutorials there—from beginner to advanced levels. The courses are very comprehensive, offering both free and paid options depending on your needs, and the platform is user-friendly. To gauge the quality, check the number of purchases and user reviews, which usually indicate how good the videos are.
5. Buying on Taobao
Taobao has revolutionized how we shop for everything, including Revit video tutorials. However, the quality of tutorials on Taobao can be hit-or-miss. From my experience, purchasing blindly might work out once in a while, but it’s mostly a gamble. So, if you decide to buy tutorials there, be prepared to rely on luck.
