Mastering Wall Connections in Revit: A Comprehensive Guide

BIM Software Tip: How Revit Controls Wall Connections

Have you ever experienced difficulty when drawing walls in Revit?

Sometimes, the wall length needs to be extended, but the presence of adjacent walls prevents you from achieving the desired result, even when dragging the wall.

The solution is quite simple: select the wall you want to adjust, then move your mouse to the drag point on the side you wish to extend. Right-click to open the context menu, and select the “Do not allow connection” option. After that, simply drag the wall to the desired length.
