BIM Software Tip: Navisworks Configuration Options Overview
Follow these steps to configure location options in Navisworks:
1. Click the application button and select Options.
2. In the Options Editor, expand the Regular node in the center panel, then click on Location options.
3. Under Project Catalog, browse to the folder containing Autodesk Navisworks settings specific to your project team.
4. Under Site Directory, browse to the folder containing the Autodesk Navisworks settings standards for the entire project site.
5. Click Confirm to save your settings.
Note: When you run Autodesk Navisworks for the first time, it will load settings from the installation directory. After that, Navisworks checks the current user configuration, all user configurations on the local machine, and then looks into the Project Catalog and Site Directory. Settings found in the Project Catalog take priority.
