How to Display Nozzles in Revit

BIM Software Tip: The Nozzle Display in Revit

When you load the built-in nozzle family in Revit, you may notice that the 2D representation of the nozzle appears very small, especially when adjusting the level of detail. This issue stems from the annotation symbol used for the nozzle family’s 2D display.

To fix this, you need to modify the 2D display by following these steps:

Open the nozzle family and select Edit Family. In the floor plan view, use the Annotation tool to draw a circle. At the same time, add a type parameter to control this annotation.

After completing these changes, load the updated family back into your project. This will allow you to better control the 2D display of the nozzle in your Revit model.
