Li Jinjun holds the positions of Secretary General of the Construction Industrialization Committee at East China Construction Group Co., Ltd. and Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Pulifa Residential Industry Co., Ltd. He highlights current challenges in prefabricated building projects, such as the diversity of component types, simultaneous construction of multiple units, and limited instantaneous production capacity of components. These issues complicate the management of design, production, and construction processes, underscoring the need for a robust information management platform.
Over the past four years, Shanghai has completed over 20 million square meters of prefabricated buildings, ranking among the top in the nation in both total floor area and number of projects.
Regarding production technologies for prefabricated concrete components, Mr. Li compared three main methods: the fixed pedestal method, the long line pedestal method, and the unit assembly line method.
Next, Mr. Li will share insights on designing and producing prefabricated building components in the digital age, focusing on an information-based assembly component management platform and the integrated control of component production through information technology combined with the Internet of Things (IoT).
