LAN Bridal is a wedding dress collection store that breaks away from the traditional layout and sales model of typical bridal salons. Situated in a four-story villa, it redefines the retail experience through thoughtful and effective design interventions.

△ Entrance Hall
The spatial design reflects the traditional formal style of wedding dresses featured in the brand’s collection, moving beyond individuality while preserving an artistic sensibility. Unlike typical bridal shops that rely on elegant or extravagant design elements, this store employs architectural language featuring simple, cohesive color palettes, clean volumes, and a strong sense of order. This approach fosters a fresh and refined shopping experience, opening up possibilities beyond romance and creating a ceremonial space that exudes vitality and growth.

Deconstruction and Reorganization
Commercial constraints and site limitations have shaped the spatial flow, functional planning, and overall experience. The space integrates various functional zones including fabric testing, display and sales, visitor reception, and art exhibitions.
Rather than following the traditional method of placing functions side by side, the design explores a novel model of coexistence and symbiosis among art experience, makeup trials, and reception areas. These three zones are designed to operate independently while allowing interaction and shared experiences.

First Floor Overview
The business flow follows a “park tour” route designed to accommodate multiple clients simultaneously without interference, enhancing the user experience. The sequence includes customer reservation, bridal gown selection, makeup removal and application, fabric testing, and photography.
The spatial layout is organized as follows: the basement serves as the main entrance and wedding dress art exhibition area; the first floor features the reception hall; the second floor is dedicated to wedding dress displays; and the third floor offers fabric and makeup testing experiences.

△ Makeup Room
The design emphasizes a ‘sense of order’ through deliberate linear elements that rhythmically connect different spaces. These staggered lines generate a unique language that runs throughout the entire experience.

△ Doorway Emphasizing Order
Container of Light
The main hall’s reception area adopts a symmetrical layout featuring functional mini-bars, a water bar platform, and lounge seating. This arrangement reflects traditional architectural hall relationships—square, elegant, balanced, and comfortable.
After a brief pause for conversation in the reception, guests naturally transition to the wedding dress exhibition area. The open floorplan encourages free movement, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves and setting an emotional tone that guides the spatial narrative.

△ Reception Room Space
The abundant natural light transforms the interior into a container of “natural shadows.” The design thoughtfully considers both the building’s physical characteristics and the emotional experience of users. Through the interplay of construction, form, texture, and volume, the space evokes a profound sense of intimacy and depth in everyday moments.

The long corridor is framed at both ends with Haipai-style doorways, creating scenic focal points that extend and intervene in the space. Each individual area connects visually to others through endless sightlines, amplifying the spatial scale and unity.
