The 5th SmartProp Smart Real Estate and Property Summit Successfully Concludes in Shanghai on August 17th

On August 17, 2023, the 5th SmartProp Smart Real Estate and Property Summit, hosted by Qingwen Consulting, was successfully held at the Longdream Hotel in Shanghai. The conference, themed “Reshaping Confidence, Adhering to Integrity and Innovation,” focused on real estate, commercial properties, and property management sectors. It integrated green concepts and explored the application of new technologies across various real estate industry scenarios.

On August 18, the Jindi Enterprise Visit, co-organized by Qingwen Consulting and Jindi, took place at Jindi Weixin Bridge Binjiang Park.

This summit attracted 533 registrations from 160 companies, including real estate, commercial, property management firms, and technology manufacturers. It garnered 1,963 online viewers and featured 19 industry experts delivering insightful speeches.

The morning conference chairman was Jiang Yang, Chief Engineer at Peking University Institute of Land and Space Planning and Design, Deputy Director of Yuheng Sustainable Transportation Research Center, and CEO of Beijing Shucheng Future Technology Co., Ltd. The afternoon session was chaired by Zhu Junhua, Deputy Secretary General of the Urban Renewal Working Committee of China City Business Federation and Partner at Beijing Xishen Asset Management Co., Ltd. The brainstorming session was led by Tang Min, Director of the Green and Smart Innovation Center at the China Academy of Building Research, an expert in energy-saving review and acceptance of major investment projects in Shanghai, holding a doctorate and senior engineer title.

Jiang Yang is a young expert and academic member of the Urban Transportation Planning Committee of the China Urban Planning Society, a member of the Ecological City Professional Committee of the China Urban Science Research Association, and serves on multiple professional committees related to smart land and urban governance. He has long been involved in research and practice in urban renewal, rail transit TOD, big data, and new technology applications, publishing over 40 papers in international and domestic journals.

His TOD-related projects include planning and practice in Kunming Chenggong, Chongqing Yuelai, Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, and Jinan New East Station. He has led research projects such as the Tianjin Green Transportation Development Strategy and the MIT TOD Joint Research Project, and provided international TOD training consulting for the World Bank.

He has worked at China State Construction Engineering Corporation, Beijing’s Xuanwu District Construction Committee, China Power Construction Real Estate Group, and China Communications Construction Real Estate Group.

Currently, he serves as Executive General Manager of China Communications Construction Group and CCCC Hainan Regional Headquarters, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and General Manager of China Communications Ocean Investment Holdings Co., Ltd.

He holds several social roles, including Executive Director of the China Real Estate Association, Executive Vice President of the Full Decoration Industry Branch of the All China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Beijing Real Estate Managers Association, Visiting Professor at Yantai University’s School of Architecture, Distinguished Professor at Hainan University, and Master’s Supervisor at Beijing Jianzhu University.
