1. The BIM component library enforces a unified storage standard, focusing on two main aspects: the external environment platform designed for BIM components, and the internal information attributes inherent to each component.
2. Since BIM models are composed of various specialized professional models, the components required by each discipline differ significantly. Therefore, the library should be classified by profession, exhaustively including the essential components needed by each field.
3. The depth of information provided for each component in the BIM library should be adequate to meet practical needs, avoiding both insufficient detail and excessive information that could hinder application efficiency.
