BIM enables visualization of information throughout the entire project lifecycle. It consolidates data that is typically invisible in traditional workflows and presents it visually through a BIM model database management platform. Visualization in BIM is categorized into three levels:

1. Visualization of physical engineering information, including the geometry, location, spatial layout, and materials of buildings;

2. Visualization of engineering status information, covering cost, safety, quality, progress, and other operational data;

3. Visualization of lifecycle process information, integrating data from planning and design, construction, and operation and maintenance phases.
