This model includes all geometric data, unit performance, and other relevant details.

Implementing BIM technology relies on the use of specialized software, commonly referred to as BIM software. These tools cover a range of functions including modeling, visualization, calculation, and analysis. Selecting the right BIM software is the crucial first step for enterprises adopting BIM. This selection process mainly focuses on identifying the software best suited for enterprise BIM implementation.
The initial stage of BIM adoption involves carefully choosing software based on factors such as the company’s business type, professional focus, and budget. The following are recommended BIM modeling software options according to different needs:
1) For simple civil architecture and multidisciplinary designs: Autodesk Revit;
2) For industrial or municipal infrastructure projects: Bentley or Revit;
3) For architectural firms: ArchiCAD, Revit, or Bentley;
4) For highly complex and irregular projects with a sufficient budget: CATIA.
