The preliminary design stage serves as the bridge between scheme design and construction drawing design, focusing primarily on further refining the initial scheme. During this phase, BIM software is utilized for structural deepening, modeling, and analysis, enhancing and improving the design model of the scheme.
Throughout the preliminary design stage, the BIM design general contractor collaborates with various BIM subcontractors to deliver BIM models for each discipline. These models are then integrated and reviewed through BIM general coordination. Ultimately, the BIM general coordinator is responsible for archiving all results from this stage.
