Sanyi has partnered with Longfor Group Nanjing Company to develop the “Golden Two Kilometers Magnetic Field” community within the Nanjing Ring Purple Mountain area. This innovative community complex, named “Purple Gold Original,” seamlessly combines residential, commercial, and service functions. Longfor Lake introduces its premier “Original Series” product line to Nanjing for the first time, creating a comprehensive urban residential community enhanced by a complementary commercial ecosystem. This project sets a new benchmark for residential living in the Nanjing Ring Purple Mountain region.

The project is situated at the southeast foot of the Zhongshan Scenic Area in Nanjing’s Xuanwu District, adjacent to iconic sites such as the Ming Xiaoling and Zhongshan Mausoleum Scenic Areas. The neighborhood offers comprehensive amenities, including nearby schools and hospitals, and is conveniently located just 400 meters from Xiaolingwei Metro Station, ensuring easy access to public transportation.

The surrounding environment primarily consists of older residential communities, with an elevation difference of approximately 4 meters between the northern and southern edges of the site. Given the abundance of high-quality external resources and the limited availability of land, the design focuses on quality as its core principle, creating uniquely scarce and valuable products through innovative internal planning.
This development is envisioned as a livable “golden two kilometer magnetic field” community. The larger northern plot, closest to the subway and main city roads for convenient transportation, is designated as a mixed-use complex featuring commercial, office, and urban facilities. The quieter, scenic southern plot, bordered by secondary roads, is reserved for residential units and community service centers, offering a comfortable living and activity space.
Residential design prioritizes maximizing living quality by expanding width and increasing distance between buildings. Three rows of residential buildings are aligned north to south, creating a landscape featuring two courtyards. An independent open community service center is placed along the sloping edge, featuring folded lines to enhance street-level commercial frontage and form a triangular plaza that attracts foot traffic.
Leveraging the site’s elevation differences, the community center is transformed into a multi-story experiential space, expanding public urban areas and commercial interfaces. Within the residential zone, landscape courtyards capitalize on the terrain’s height variations to form three-dimensional garden spaces, delivering an immersive forest-like living experience.

The three-dimensional garden courtyard includes three key modules: Water Island Garden, Terrace Garden, and Pocket Garden.
Water Island Garden: Living alongside water, this space integrates tranquil water scenery with living areas. Customized booths and a forest rest platform create inviting gathering spots. The second-floor living function room expands indoor activity space, fostering communication, leisure, and relaxation for a high-quality lifestyle.

#03 Artistic and Cultural Entrance Space

The project’s ultra-luxurious experience includes a strikingly long and artistic entrance space. The art showcase features a sculpture titled “Mountain,” abstractly representing mountain elements and outlining Purple Mountain through dynamic crystal lines, symbolizing the entire garden.

Approaching the entrance space on the first floor, visitors follow the building’s curved lines that visually extend inward with no distinct boundaries. The sides feature marble and glass, while the roof incorporates hollow glass bricks and steel-framed brick structures arranged linearly. The interplay of three different interface enclosures opens the space, creating a mysterious and inviting atmosphere.

The street-facing buildings curve dynamically, with elongated lines that connect seamlessly with the road and integrate into the urban fabric. Multiple curved lines slide across the facade, expanding the building’s mass. A parametric design simulates the texture of iridescent perforated aluminum panels, enhancing the exterior aesthetics and creating dynamic light and shadow effects inside. At night, dynamic lighting evokes the feeling of a vast starry sky.

The facade conveys exclusivity, ceremony, and customization, reflecting homeowners’ pride through advanced materials. Soft horizontal lines evoke purple clouds and mountain rock layers, creating a concave and convex spatial rhythm. The elegant proportions, combined with Chinese landscape courtyards, answer the desire for tradition and an ideal home.

The design incorporates modern elements, maintaining the hall’s axis with a three-section, horizontal, cantilevered, and simplified approach. This reduces obstruction of indoor functional spaces by the exterior facade, enhancing comfort. The contrast between solid and void in the main block is concise, clear, and elegant, crowned by a simple, soft roofline.
The horizontal wire legs are crafted from aluminum plates, giving the overall facade a tall, high-end appearance with a strong sense of quality.

#06 High-Quality Community Business Ecosystem
LONGFOR MANSION
The Zijin Original neighborhood is surrounded mainly by older residential areas that lack high-quality commercial and public activity spaces. Within these constraints, the community commerce design adopts a unique reverse S-shaped layout to maximize commercial value. This design also creates an open plaza that serves as urban public space, fostering interaction between residential and commercial areas to promote multi-plot connectivity and maximize both commercial and urban development potential.

Traditional commercial complexes, whether block-type or Hui-shaped street businesses, often feature inner streets or storefronts. To maximize commercial value, this project designs more exterior storefronts. The reverse S-shaped layout converts the original interior arrangement into an exterior-facing format, ensuring all commercial fronts are easily accessible and highly visible.
This high-quality design with a significant commercial proportion creates a streamlined flow and naturally forms two outward-facing public plazas, which can host continuous, personalized, and organized thematic events.
