Expo Introduction
The 2022 China (Foshan) Green and Low Carbon New Building Industrialization and Prefabricated Industry Expo aims to promote the high-quality development of the construction industry. It aligns with the key directive to advance urban construction management through connotative, intensive, and green development. The expo embraces the development principles of innovation, coordination, green growth, openness, and sharing, applying these concepts to housing and urban-rural development.
The goal is to foster a new type of urbanization focused on people, creating livable, low-carbon, smart, and human-centered cities.
Hosted by the Guangdong Construction Engineering Green and Prefabricated Development Association and the Foshan Prefabricated Building Association, the expo will take place from July 7–9, 2022, at the Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. It will be held alongside the inaugural Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area High-Quality Development Forum on Green and New Building Industrialization.
The theme for the event is “Green Development on the Carbon Road and Promoting Industrial Transformation.” The expo covers a 50,000-square-meter exhibition area and will feature over 100 leading enterprises from the national prefabricated building industry.

2. Highlights of the Prefabricated Industry Expo
Policy Guidance: The expo gathers authoritative experts, government agencies, associations, and industry stakeholders from upstream and downstream sectors to thoroughly implement the “dual carbon” development goals. Attendees will gain comprehensive insights into the latest trends and policies shaping the prefabricated construction industry.
Technology-Driven: More than 100 leading prefabricated industry enterprises nationwide will showcase their products, share insights, and participate in forums. The event promotes the transformation and upgrading of building industrialization through digitization and intelligent construction.
Industrial Collaboration: The expo connects all segments of the prefabricated building industrial chain, from design and structure to interior decoration, new energy, modular technology, components, and green building materials. It fosters coordinated development across the industry and supports comprehensive lifecycle management of buildings.
Procurement Services: A dedicated exhibition and industrial procurement platform will be established, including an assembly and construction engineering procurement zone. This facilitates project procurement along the entire industry chain and offers enterprise credit ratings, green certifications, and financial services.
Professional Groups: The event targets investment units involved in town and street construction, land development, municipal projects, urban renewal, industrial park management, and public projects across the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. It also invites industrial investment funds, developers and operators from residential, commercial, tourism, healthcare, and industrial real estate sectors, as well as construction contracting agencies. Key national construction industry associations along the Belt and Road, aid procurement platforms, and centralized building materials procurement platforms will participate. The expo aligns with project requirements and extends targeted invitations to project budget planners, cost managers, architectural and interior designers, and product application specialists within the Greater Bay Area.
Promotion Empowerment: A nationwide high-quality development forum for the prefabricated industry will be organized to boost the industry’s presence in the Greater Bay Area. This will include promotion through over 100 online media outlets, a database of more than 300,000 contacts, and multi-channel media coverage inviting a broad audience.
