Preface
To fulfill the directives outlined in the Notice of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on Issuing the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Application of Building Information Modeling (Jianzhihan No. AI-BT-SC0_159) and the Zhejiang Province Green Building Regulations, this guideline aims to advance the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology across construction projects.
Its objective is to comprehensively enhance BIM application capabilities among construction, design, construction management, owners, property management, and consulting service organizations within Zhejiang Province. It also seeks to standardize the BIM technology application environment.
The preparation team conducted extensive research, drawing on both domestic and international BIM standards and practical application experiences. They assessed the current status of BIM usage in Zhejiang Province and gathered widespread feedback to develop this guideline.
This document is structured into four chapters plus one appendix. Key technical content includes general principles, basic regulations, organizational management for BIM implementation, and focused BIM technology application points.
The Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Zhejiang Province oversees the management and interpretation of this guideline, while the editorial unit handles detailed technical explanations.
