The “Chongqing Housing Construction and Municipal Engineering Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technical Service Billing Guidelines (Trial)” have been officially released, addressing the previous lack of BIM fee standards in our city. These guidelines aim to standardize the pricing of BIM technical services within the construction industry, helping to reasonably determine and effectively control project costs.
The Information Technology Branch of the Chongqing Construction Industry Association, in collaboration with relevant organizations, developed the guidelines by referencing BIM charging standards from regions such as Guangdong, Nanjing, Hunan, Gansu, Shanghai, and Henan. They also considered the unique circumstances of Chongqing to create a tailored set of standards.
Known as the “Guidelines”, the document is structured into four main sections: general provisions, terminology, basic regulations, and fee unit prices.
