Design Overview
The project is situated at the intersection of Hongmian 3rd Road and Guangda Road in Longgang District, Shenzhen, covering approximately 40,000 square meters of land with a total construction area of 70,000 square meters. This boarding public senior high school will accommodate 36 teaching classes and provide 1,800 public regular high school seats.
Adjacent to Dalinggu Park on the west side, the campus is designed to connect closely with nature. Buildings are integrated with the mountainous terrain, blending the natural environment with the campus. The beautiful surroundings are envisioned to accompany students’ growth, with the shade of trees and forests becoming cherished memories.

△ Aerial View
Responding to the surrounding environment, the teaching and living areas are located on the west side, adjacent to the park to ensure a quiet and comfortable environment. The sports field is positioned on the east side, elevated to face a busy intersection. Beneath the elevated sports field, a park is created for local residents to engage in recreational activities. Public sports facilities enrich the community’s activity spaces, fostering a reciprocal relationship.

Leveraging the Mountains and Bringing Greenery into the Campus
Located in a prime setting next to Dalinggu Park, the campus design follows the mountainous landscape, extending greenery from the mountains into the campus. This creates a multi-level green landscape that seamlessly integrates the campus between city and nature.

Embracing the Mountains and Forests
From the moment teachers and students enter the campus, they are greeted with expansive green mountainous terrain visible through the elevated colonnade. Ascending the ramp leads to the fourth-floor activity platform, where students can enjoy sunshine, tree shade, and panoramic views of lush mountains. Whether in classrooms, playgrounds, libraries, or dormitories, the verdant mountain landscape is a constant presence.
The campus main entrance features a continuous grassy slope connecting two activity platforms. This design allows teachers and students to stroll through campus as if walking along a mountain path.

The vibrant platform on the fourth floor is covered with lush trees and flowers, mirroring the mountain greenery. Under the large tree, students study etiquette, and near the apricot grove, lessons take place — reflecting ancient ideals for places of learning and character development. The towering trees above the transportation well and the dense forest on the activity platform offer excellent spaces for study and activities.

Schematic Diagram of the Relationship Between Activity Platform and Mountain Space
All regular classrooms are arranged in a windmill-like pattern across three groups, located on the fourth-floor activity platform, ensuring ample sunlight and stunning mountain views. The two-story classroom design minimizes students’ travel time to activity areas during breaks. Teachers can conveniently access classrooms from offices below the activity platform. This close integration enables seamless transitions between teaching and activity spaces, enhancing the efficiency of educational routes.

Mountain Forests and Lush Valleys: Poetic and Picturesque Corridors
Following the mountain terrain and campus layout, a unique green valley weaves through the campus, effectively separating the teaching, living, and sports zones.

△ Forest and Green Valley Aerial Space Rendering
The valley is lush and verdant; through Cuigu, students can access various functional areas of the school. The green valley permeates every corner of the campus. Landscape ramps and aerial corridors have been incorporated at different levels, facilitating connections between campus functions while providing rich, three-dimensional activity spaces.

Mountain View Dormitory
Student dormitories are concentrated on the north side, while teacher apartments are independently placed near the campus entrance on the west side for convenient commuting. In line with the campus design concept, an elevated activity platform will be created on the seventh floor of the dormitory building, connecting it to the aerial activity platform in the teaching area. This design provides transparent views and brings natural mountains and forests into the school environment. Elevated floors also separate male and female dormitories.

The dormitory lobby is located on the elevated activity platform. After classes, male and female students use dedicated elevators to reach their respective dormitories via the elevated platforms, ensuring privacy. The first floor includes a dormitory entrance hall for students entering or leaving during holidays. Students can directly access the elevated level via dedicated elevators for quick and efficient dormitory access.

Community Sharing
Due to the elevation of the sports stadium and the addition of external sports facilities, a park has been created on the southwest side of the site for residents to enjoy recreational activities. Public access to sports facilities enriches community resources and promotes a reciprocal relationship. During school hours, this area can also serve as a temporary parking lot, providing parents with a high-quality waiting and pick-up zone.
