At the heart of architectural design lies the goal of enhancing residents’ quality of life. This project exemplifies this by embracing simplicity to reveal its fundamental components. It focuses on maximizing benefits through thoughtful management of climate conditions.

Situated in a residential neighborhood on the southern outskirts of the Guadalajara metropolitan area, this project features two stacked volumes serving distinct purposes: private and service areas. The open space between these volumes leverages the local climate and benefits from the abundant natural light typical of low-density residential zones. This design supports ventilation, lighting, and visual comfort. At the same time, protecting residents’ privacy is paramount, which is why the service spaces are deliberately less exposed.

Overall, this residence stands as an honest and authentic expression of the owner’s needs. It carefully balances the relationship between nature and the urban environment, showcasing its unique character through its architectural form.
