Beijing/Xierqi stands as the cosmological center of China’s Internet. At the heart of this universe, highly educated and technologically advanced elites shape the future through lines of code. While designers cannot change the demanding 996 work culture, they can craft an inspiring office space that reflects innovation and creativity.
To achieve this, we integrated science fiction-inspired landscaping into the office design, creating a groundbreaking multi-dimensional environment. This space blends functionality with immersive scenic elements, offering users a unique science fiction office experience.
We framed this concept as a time travel story across parallel dimensions, paying homage to the visionary film 2001: A Space Odyssey. Each important area connects seamlessly like frames of a movie, inviting visitors to step into another dimension.
Chapter 1: The Arrival of Humans
In 2020, a gleaming box descended from the night sky through a parallel universe and vanished at Building 39, Xierqi Street, Haidian District, Beijing.

Chapter 2: Crossing the Star Gate
Disguised as an ordinary building, the entrance opens to a miniature black hole tunnel, leading into an alternate dimension where space feels infinite and infinite possibilities unfold. Thus begins our journey into a new dimensional realm.

Chapter 3: Entering the Eyes
Exiting the tunnel, you encounter the gaze of another dimension amidst the ruins of a lost civilization. You observe it, and it watches you in return—an endless exchange crossing the universe’s central station.

Chapter 4: Solitude
The precise 4:9 ratio hints at the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence beyond Earth. This long-sealed, lonely valley and the diamond-cut golden shuttle ladder are indestructible symbols of the creator’s immense power.

Chapter 5: In a Vacuum
The vacuum represents our skylight atrium, offering views of the lonely valley and the golden shuttle from every floor. The golden shuttle serves as a transportation hub within the vacuum, connecting you to any destination.

Chapter 6: Cruise Mode
Upon joining this space station, interdimensional reception staff offer an unprecedented level of service. Like a repository of a smart brain, the built-in memory modules consider human health and spatial environment, enabling tailored environmental adjustments for comfort and well-being.

Chapter 7: The Magical Room
This magical room within the interdimensional space hosts ongoing meetings about crossing civilizations. You can choose to wait quietly for something to unfold or open the hatch and step outside to engage with the surrounding reality.

Chapter 8: The Need for Knowledge
The energy supply center within this interdimensional space is circular, simulating the Eye of another dimension. It invisibly stores energy, powering the environment.

Chapter 9: Secrets
Hidden corners of this interdimensional space scatter clues about crossing civilizations. Decoding this information could unlock the mysteries of interdimensional travel.

Everything before us might be an illusion.

Even settlers in alternate dimensions need to share their experiences on social media.

Chapter 10: Outliers
Suspended rocks within the interdimensional space defy gravity, evoking a sense that the surrounding landscape could vanish at any moment.

Conclusion
Defining oneself and others is a central theme of this journey. We envision the space’s users as wanderers of unknown time and space—both explorers and occupants. Our goal is to create an environment that helps them overcome obstacles and negative emotions, restoring the office to its essence: a place of inspiration and discovery. Every workday becomes a new adventure.
