As time flows, light travels with it,
and water gently moves along.
Time acts like a burner, recording every path,
offering a unique experience of time and space.

The bathroom exhibition hall, themed “Clues Through Time,” employs assembly lines, timelines, and bamboo strips as mediums to blend products seamlessly into the space. Different line forms traverse the dense space, creating striking visual features that highlight the pure textures and elegant shapes of the products, fostering a harmonious connection between the environment and the items on display. Dominated by dark gray tones, the space incorporates natural installation elements, making the white products stand out as the focal point. Paired with warm, soft natural wood grains, the atmosphere exudes calmness, elegance, and warmth.

The Cyclical Waterline
The entrance features a winding corridor that evokes a sense of mystery and ritual, inviting visitors into the space. Serving as a bridge between the outside and inside, a suspended natural installation hangs in midair, allowing the Buddha-inspired space to breathe.
Beyond the narrow passage, visitors are greeted by an immersive “assembly line” installation. Streams of dense water lines cascade from the ceiling into a pristine white circular bathtub, symbolizing the slow passage of time. The interplay of rain, light, and diamond-shaped stainless steel mirrors creates a mesmerizing, dreamlike scene—both dynamic and still, tangible and ethereal. This collision forms a profound sensory experience.

The Bamboo Thread Traveling Through Time and Space
To help visitors appreciate the brand’s history, the designers crafted a delicate installation from bent and spliced bamboo strips. This freely woven, curved structure resembles the threads of vast time, winding and twisting as it crosses time and space toward the unknown.

Various light directions cast unique shadows on the bamboo installation, animating the walls with patterns of light and shade. While the space remains still, time flows continuously. Amidst this interplay of movement and stillness, a unique world emerges. This time-space corridor presents the brand’s past, present, and future development, transforming the space from a mere physical structure into a poetic realm that stimulates reflections on the future. Beyond its visual appeal, it serves as a conceptual guide. Light, shadow, and memory unfold spatially, evoking a blend of virtual and real sensations between products and people, and between individuals and their environment. It invites visitors to reminisce about the past, experience the present, and envision the future through the space.

The designers intentionally created narrow, unexpected spaces that spark curiosity and exploration. Alongside contrasting sensory experiences, the atmosphere imbues a strong sense of mystery. The clash of straight lines and curves symbolizes the relationship between reality and thought.

Visual cues guide visitors from the material structure to modes of thought and association, reflecting the designer’s deeper exploration of how physical space can be transformed conceptually. The journey begins at the entrance, passes through the dark corridor with twists and turns, and culminates in a space defined by time and place. These elements together construct an environment that can feel vast enough to lose oneself or intimate enough to find oneself.

The Noisy Light
The designer seeks to create a serene retreat, a place to find inner peace and reconnect with nature.
Light is essential to space and nature. The bathroom is the most private and contemplative area, designed without direct windows. Instead, a separate enclosed courtyard wall is established in each room, leaving only the sky visible above. Lush green plants like banana trees fill the courtyards, imbuing the space with hidden poetry. Natural light filters through the banana leaves, filling the interior with vitality. The open layout promotes smooth, comfortable movement throughout the space. The dappled light cast by plants onto the walls contrasts with the concentrated three-dimensionality of the courtyards, highlighting their beauty. Invisible and tangible light weaves between structures, narrating its own story on surfaces and within spaces.

The warm lighting and rich wooden textures in the consultation area create a relaxed, comfortable, and natural atmosphere. Custom circular ceiling lights echo the exhibition’s theme, mirroring the shape of the products in a circular rhythm, like a storybook illustrating the sun’s rise and fall and the passage of time. The generous soft lighting enhances the comfort of the environment. A “tree of life” planted within symbolizes vitality, offering a space filled with energy and life.

The silk-screen gradient glass partitions introduce a soft, translucent quality to the enclosed spaces, disrupting traditional sightlines and breathing life into the environment. Thoughtfully designed, the space balances rigidity and softness, inviting viewers to find interest in its order and poetry within its rationality. The interwoven structures and natural light enhance openness, improving the display effect and creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.

The interior design embodies a modern simplicity combined with exquisite attention to detail, showcasing a unique style and artistic sensibility. The reception and consultation areas utilize solid wood veneer boxes to define spaces and circulation paths, creating a robust yet refined atmosphere reminiscent of an art museum’s stability and grandeur.

Soft decor may forgo elaborate ornamentation to prioritize space, while hard decor might sacrifice some craftsmanship for softness. Yet, the design strives to balance both, making the space engaging not just through cleverness, but through a deeper understanding and appreciation. This thoughtful balance becomes an aesthetic expression—abstract yet expressive, hidden yet revealed—capturing poetry between motion and stillness.

If the designer is the artist of space, then the artworks displayed on stands and walls are the artists’ creations. The shape of light is sculpted by the thick walls, and when beams fall, they create a magical realm: smooth wall textures illuminated by shafts of sacred light from above. In such a space, one listens to the true voice of the heart, discovers personal value and needs, and experiences a lifelong sense of ceremony. Here, light is not merely contained but carves the space itself.

Exploring the relationship between light and spatial patterns begins with real-life objects and landscapes, injecting new ideas into their memories. This reflection on creativity balances the space with tangible elements, allowing the temporal field formed by these objects to grow within the environment. The walls become a stage of possibilities and freedom, where objects communicate alternative visual languages—a form of art we might call “Objectivism.”
Introducing natural light enriches the layers of light and shadow, infusing the space with a heightened sense of spirit and vitality.
