The inspiration for this project stems from the beauty of nature—plants, trees, forests, majestic mountains, and flowing water—all inviting people to immerse themselves in nature’s embrace. The space breathes naturally, surrounded by greenery peeking through, blending indoor and outdoor reflections, the play of light and time, the touch of leaves, and the songs of birds perched atop the trees. This creates a harmonious connection between the mind and environment.
Why do people love nature? Because it offers brilliant sunshine, fresh air, and sweet rain and dew that evoke comfort, relaxation, and happiness—both physically and mentally. Forests are nature’s masterpieces, nurturing and nourishing all life. They represent both the source and destination of existence, producing the highest concentration of negative ions that revitalize us.
The circular design on the floor mirrors the ceiling, creating a dynamic and agile spatial tension, enclosing it like a forest. Vivid streamlined elements add playfulness, while the open square shapes hint at the start of unknown spaces and allow for interconnection, emphasizing the design’s central theme.
This nearly still and peaceful space invites free breathing, surrounded by large green plants that both protect and filter sunlight. It purifies the air and soul, awakening the senses and immersing visitors in nature’s magnetic field.
There is a profound connection between time and space here — a space-time channel bridging reality and the future, seemingly leading to an unknown world ahead. The space extends infinitely through virtual means, with a guiding beam of light always pointing the way.
The distinctive ceiling structure acts as the visual centerpiece, with long wooden slats crisscrossing in an infinite, orderly pattern. This three-dimensional grid adds tension and imparts a unique charm to the space.
The kaleidoscope evokes childhood dreams and a yearning for the unknown, opening the gateway to a fantastical realm. It invites visitors to feel as if they are journeying through interstellar space or being drawn into a cosmic black hole.
The crystal-clear textures and vivid colors fill the space with a fantastical and romantic atmosphere, sparking imagination about future living. As Louis Kahn said, “We use light as the director, shadow as the protagonist, and narrate the space.” This guides visitors through personalized and unique experiences of light and shadow. The use of landscaping extends beyond indoors, becoming an essential element of the building’s facade.
