ADD, an architectural studio based in Athens, has recently unveiled its innovative concept titled “Hedonistic Residences”. This project is envisioned as a “pleasure device” situated along the coast of Agioi Apostoloi town on Eina Island. The house features a distinctive design with curved outlines and sharp angles, centered around a functional central courtyard. The design fosters a dialogue between the architecture and the expansive, distant landscapes.
Visitors enter the residence from the highest point of the courtyard, following a path alongside the pool and through three main living spaces: the master bedroom, guest rooms, and lounge areas.

The “Hedonistic Residence” gently steps down the sloping terrain, blending seamlessly with the natural landscape. A terrace and outdoor seating area invite visitors to gaze toward the distant horizon. At the top level of the spatial sequence, the living room benefits from a gentle breeze and features a balcony with a roof that faces the sea. Above this roof lies a swimming pool, visible from the interior below.
Access to the bedroom is through the central courtyard, ensuring privacy and separation from the rest of the house. From a sectional perspective, the staircase level creates an intimate spatial experience, enhancing movement and interaction within the interior.

ADD Architecture Studio integrates each individual space into a sculptural whole, employing bold formal language throughout “Hedonistic Residences”. The dynamic curved exterior, thoughtfully designed, creates sharp corners that form key structural elements of the house. This design maintains a subtle presence, harmonizing human intervention with the natural environment.
