This private residence is situated on a plateau surrounded by embankments in the Grisons region. When viewed from below, the building stretches 24 meters in length and features a single-story garden. From above, only a small roof is visible against the backdrop of the surrounding mountain range. The garden walls seamlessly integrate the building with the natural terrain, creating a larger, unified space.

The residence’s structure comprises a cylinder, two walls, and four corners, all encased in light grey concrete to form a cohesive whole. The two walls run parallel to the trapezoidal block and, together with the cylinder, support the roof. The exposed concrete was cast on-site, with the ground surface polished and hammered for texture. The ceiling extends from the interior to the exterior, with a protruding roof that rises to 3.40 meters, offering protection to the terrace below.

Inside, the space feels more expansive than the building’s actual footprint. Two walls frame a central triangular entrance area and divide the ground floor into three distinct rooms: the living room, kitchen, and private quarters. Each room has floor-to-ceiling windows that connect the interior spaces directly with the surrounding landscape.
