This three-story standalone coastal villa is designed as a vacation retreat, where the owner can relax and enjoy time with three beloved cats. The interior features a serene pink palette, achieved through pink mineral paint on the walls and ceilings, complemented by various naturally toned pink materials that create an eclectic yet harmonious style.

The first floor serves as a public living and entertaining area. To highlight the homeowner’s collection, rose gold stainless steel is used for movable shelves and cabinetry, providing a sleek contrast to the textured, rustic walls. While the living and dining areas are distinct, their layout encourages interaction through thoughtful traffic flow and seating arrangements. Above the kitchen, an exaggerated dome ceiling with playful shapes and patterns conceals necessary equipment and piping, adding a whimsical touch to the space.

The second floor is a private retreat, featuring a master bedroom, bathroom, and a dedicated cat room. The design centers on the cat room, ensuring it connects directly or indirectly with other spaces. The cat room’s scale is designed to accommodate both cats and humans, blending furniture and spatial concepts—such as a cat-friendly ladder and a writing desk customized for the owner. This thoughtful layout allows the owner to enjoy leisure activities, play with their cats, or relax in the master bedroom while observing the cats next door. Additionally, the master bathroom includes smart glass with adjustable transparency for privacy.

The third floor offers a multifunctional space distinct from the lower levels and is the only floor with direct access to the outdoors. From here, residents can enjoy views of sunlight, the sky, and neatly rotating wind turbines. While maintaining the signature pink and geometric elements, the design adopts a calm and minimalist approach, preserving the natural textures of iron, cement, and wood. This creates a unique transitional area blending indoor and outdoor environments.
