Nextoffice, an Iranian architectural firm, has designed the headquarters for the Mashhad Construction Engineering Organization. This project serves as a hub where engineers can convene and share ideas. The building’s sculptural form—currently under construction—is shaped by spatial flow lines, with corridors weaving throughout and connecting to streets on both sides. This dynamic circulation creates open spaces and structural gaps that invite the public into the courtyard and guide pedestrian movement.

The Mashhad Construction Engineering Organization Headquarters, designed by Nextoffice, is intended to support the organization’s activities in Iran. The architectural team created a monument-like building with a clear, hierarchical layout, dividing it into two main public areas. A large hall accommodates applicants for receiving certificates and technical licenses, while a circular open-air theater hosts seminars, conferences, and construction-related events. These two prominent spaces reflect the expertise and professional mission of the construction engineering community.

Nextoffice’s proposal treats the building as a sculptural entity within the urban fabric, blending seamlessly with the street view. The two main public spaces—the circular open-air theater and the permit hall—are located on the ground floor with direct street access. The basement, first, and second floors are accessible via a sculptural central space that defines the building’s iconic form and draws inspiration from traditional Iranian architectural elements and structures.
