▲ Night Scene Overview
The Chedi, the first Anlan hotel in China designed by Jundi, officially opened in January 2019.
Anlan, the founder of Anman, is part of the “An Generation” and represents a mature high-end brand under GHM. Nestled in Shenzhen Town, Ninghai County, this hotel is surrounded by thousands of acres of mountains and forests. It enjoys the refreshing breeze of the lush valley and the soothing hot springs of the bamboo sea, making Anlan more than just a hotel—it is a unique retreat in the countryside.

The design process respects the natural site, utilizing the existing slopes and geological features. The buildings are subtly integrated into the landscape, positioned to minimize disturbance to the original terrain.

01. Lobby
“The Chedi” means temple, symbolizing imagery, elegance, and a secret sanctuary.
Upon entering Anlan, guests experience a unique and inviting atmosphere. The roof and flooring extend seamlessly, enveloping the lobby like a precious gem nestled at the mountain’s base, surrounded by bamboo forests, plaster soil, wildflowers, and clear springs.

02. Villa Rooms
Surrounded by vast bamboo forests, the site features 100 villas including lakeside residences, mountain dwellings, and secluded valley villas. Variations include mountain-leaning, mountain-watching, bamboo-facing, and bamboo-adjacent designs.
Set into the mountainside, the villas feature large French windows and terraces made from low-reflective glass to minimize light pollution and preserve the ecological environment. Natural hot springs are incorporated into the bathrooms, creating a serene and gentle atmosphere.

Nanxi Pavilion is located adjacent to a mountain stream, with views of the equestrian center across the river. Linhu Pavilion boasts a large terrace showcasing the beauty of surrounding waters and mountains, with green hills and a lake that resembles a jade painting.
