The 16th R+T Asia Doors, Windows, and Sunshade Technology Exhibition, a premier event in Asia, will take place from February 24 to 26, 2020, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. This event offers an unparalleled platform for the doors, windows, and sunshade industry.
The 2019 R+T Asia was a remarkable success, covering over 65,000 square meters and hosting more than 642 exhibitors from around the world. It attracted 41,505 professional visitors from 105 countries and regions. International attendance grew by over 38%, with European visitors increasing by 61%. Leading countries included Germany, France, the United States, Russia, and Italy. The Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Iraq, also showed strong interest, positioning R+T Asia as their preferred platform.
The Hosted Buyer “Buyer Invitation Program” attracted many prominent buyers, facilitating nearly a hundred cross-border business matchmaking events. Domestic trade remains stable with steady growth, marked by a 15% increase in local visitors. East China led with a 25% growth rate, followed by South and Central China with nearly 20%. The growing number of professional attendees has driven significant purchasing activity, with nearly 18% of visitors making purchases exceeding 20 million yuan. The number of buyers at this level continues to rise annually. Expanding market channels have also attracted more retailers to the exhibition.
In 2019, R+T Asia welcomed over 5,000 professionals, including interior designers, registered architects, design consultants, and real estate procurement specialists. The event showcased diverse, innovative global building energy-saving solutions, providing designers with a valuable platform to explore material options and product recommendations. Nearly 30 industry events featured over 100 design experts, creating an interactive forum for designers and suppliers.
Exhibitors praised the event highly, with a 95% satisfaction rate and an 85% booth booking rate on-site.
