3. Highlights from the 21st Science and Technology Expo

The Science and Technology Expo combined nearly 20 events across three major categories: high-tech exhibitions, forums, and the promotion of scientific and technological achievements. These activities successfully facilitated the transformation of numerous technological innovations and promoted cooperation in major industrial projects.

According to incomplete statistics, 204 technology trading and industrial cooperation agreements were signed during last year’s Expo, totaling 89.642 billion yuan.

Participants included 39 overseas delegations from three international organizations and 34 countries, 29 provincial and municipal delegations, leaders from relevant national ministries and departments, and various industry professionals. More than 220,000 people attended the Expo’s various activities.

The exhibition itself attracted over 180,000 visitors in four days. Meanwhile, 12 project promotion and trading events brought nearly 6,000 domestic and international business representatives. Six forums featured 182 renowned speakers from China and abroad, drawing an audience exceeding 5,800.

4. Advantages of the Science and Technology Expo

1. Premier Annual Event: Endorsed by the State Council and co-hosted by multiple ministries, the Expo has welcomed visits from senior leaders of the Party Central Committee, National People’s Congress, State Council, CPPCC, Central Military Commission, and other government bodies on multiple occasions.
2. Comprehensive Platform: The 21st Expo showcased dozens of events in three categories: theme presentations, high-tech exhibitions, and promotion and negotiation of scientific and technological projects. These activities effectively encouraged investment and industrial cooperation, culminating in 204 signed cooperation agreements worth 89.642 billion yuan.
3. Strong Media Coverage: Over 280 leading media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency, People’s Daily, CCTV, Associated Press, and Reuters, reported on the event. Over its 21-year history, the Expo has been a key driver of China’s technological innovation, witnessing its evolution from follower to global leader, and the industry’s shift from low-end to mid- and high-end manufacturing.

Electronic Information and Modern Communication: Network information technology and solutions, integrated circuits, electronic components, complete electronic information equipment, modern communication devices, power electronics, laser and optoelectronic devices, opto-mechatronics integration, liquid crystal displays, internet and e-commerce.
3. Internet of Things (IoT) Technology: Smart cities, parks, logistics, transportation, homes, security and surveillance technology, smart lighting, cloud computing and storage, sensors, recognition technology, short-range communication technologies and products, management software, IoT demonstration applications, and components.
4. Educational Equipment and Online Education: Digital education and teaching, informatization, networked educational robots, internet education platforms, campus audio-visual systems, digital classrooms and campuses, teaching equipment, computers, audiovisual devices, experimental equipment, teaching software.

6. Booth Pricing

Standard Booth (3m x 3m = 9㎡):
Zone A: RMB ¥24,900
Zone B: RMB ¥16,600
*Note: Double-opening booths incur an additional charge of RMB ¥500 per booth.

Light Booth:
Zone A: RMB ¥2,490 per ㎡
Zone B: RMB ¥1,660 per ㎡
*Note: The minimum area for a special booth is 36 square meters. Exhibitors are responsible for registration, setup, and arrangement, bearing all related costs.
*Note: Simple special equipment has no area limits but must be approved and constructed by the organizer, with a fee of RMB ¥600 per square meter.

7. Special Events

If exhibitors wish to host special events, arrangements can be negotiated separately based on event content and scale.

8. Exhibition Procedures

1. Submit the registration form and a copy of the business license.
2. After review, the organizing committee will send a payment invoice.
3. Exhibitors complete payment.
4. Upon full payment, the organizing committee issues an exhibition confirmation.
5. Before the event, the organizing committee provides an exhibition manual.
6. Exhibitors arrive and set up according to the schedule.
