With the rapid growth of the construction industry fueled by green building development, building waterproofing has become a crucial sector in China, directly impacting the national economy and people’s livelihoods. It plays a vital role in ensuring building safety and longevity.

Recently, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development released the “13th Five Year Plan for Building Energy Efficiency and Green Building Development”, which aims to establish an energy-saving, low-carbon, green, ecological, intensive, and efficient building energy consumption system. Building on the rapid progress of green buildings over the past five years, China plans to intensify the promotion of green and energy-saving buildings during this period.

Urban rail transit, high-speed railways, highways, urban transportation hubs, comprehensive urban pipe corridors, prefabricated buildings, and rural revitalization initiatives will open new growth opportunities for the waterproofing industry.

Expo Theme & Highlights

The theme for the 2019 CIGBE is “Adhering to Green Development and Building a Green Home”, emphasizing Low Carbon, Environmental Protection, and Green concepts. The expo will feature exhibition zones dedicated to smart city construction, prefabricated buildings, building energy conservation, new building materials, and green building waterproofing and roofing materials.

By integrating existing resources, the expo promotes the concept of innovation, safety, beautiful ecology, and comprehensive green building solutions.

The show will occupy two halls covering 15,000 square meters, hosting over 300 exhibitors with an expected attendance exceeding 20,000 visitors.

This year’s Green Building Expo aims to support the implementation of policies from China’s 13th Five Year Plan for green development. As a national pilot project for modernizing the housing industry, Xiamen will play a key role in promoting the Belt and Road strategy and advancing green building construction in 2019.

• Slope Roof Waterproof Cushion Materials and Roofing System Support: Heat reflective, breathable, polymer, self-adhesive waterproof cushions; ventilated roof cushions; flashing, ventilation ridge, eaves flashing layers, and more.
• Single Layer Roof Systems and Polymer Membranes: PVC, EPDM, CPE, HDPE, TPO, rubber-plastic blend sheets; bonding materials; mechanical fasteners; hot air welding machines; roof accessories; pressure strips; drainage systems including metal and PVC gutters, downspouts, siphon drainage and accessories.
• Various Tile Materials: Asphalt tiles (colored fiberglass), cement tiles, clay tiles, metal tiles, glazed tiles, PVC tiles, fiberglass tiles, metal roofs, waterproof boards, and lightweight sloped roof systems.
• Waterproof and Leak Sealing Materials: Waterproof agents, polymer mortar, permeable crystalline materials, grouting materials, bentonite series, etc.
• Planting Roof Systems: Root puncture resistant waterproof materials, drainage boards, metal alloy waterproof rolls, planting roof systems, storage and drainage plates, drainage pipes, and drainage layers.
• Thermal Insulation and Energy-Saving Materials: Roof and exterior wall insulation systems, adhesives, alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh, mechanical fasteners, finishing materials, energy-saving coatings, dry mortar, mineral wool, glass wool, thermal insulation coatings, expanded perlite, vermiculite, polystyrene, foam glass, rigid polyurethane, phenolic foam, thermal insulation films, etc.

Booth Configuration

Standard booth includes: 9 square meters exhibition space, 2.5 meters height, fascia board with company name, one reception desk, two chairs, one 220V power socket, two fluorescent lamps, carpet, and cleaning service.

Bare space rental: Minimum 36 square meters without any configuration. Exhibitors must build their own booths and pay additional management and electricity fees.

Exhibition Procedures

1. Exhibitors must hold a valid business license and legal qualifications for production and operation.
2. After selecting a booth, exhibitors must complete the “Exhibition Application and Contract Form,” affix the official seal, and submit it to the organizing committee by fax or mail. Signed and sealed forms are legally binding contracts; faxed or copied forms are accepted.
3. Booth allocation follows a first-come, first-served payment confirmation principle. Organizers reserve the right to adjust booth assignments for overall venue effect.
4. The organizing committee will send the “Exhibition Handbook” with details on schedules, transportation, hotel accommodations, and booth construction 30 days before the event.
